I'm a huge fan of Clinique so when just casually browsing in store a representative let me try their Moisture Surge Face Spray I was never going to say no. This isn't a new product but I fell in love with it and wanted to share that with you all.
As a huge advocate for daily skin care routines, morning and night I use Clinique’s 3-step system: facial wash, toner and moisturiser. For those familiar with Clinique I am number 2 which is dry/combination. It is time consuming but in my opinion very much worth it as according to my gran I don’t seem to age but I guess she is bias. Anyway, I am not perfect and find it difficult most mornings to get out of bed and every so often don’t have time to follow the 3 steps, meaning I usually miss out the moisturiser but now I have a substitute. An answered prayer. A quick and easy way to moisturised skin for the mornings I want an extra 5 maybe 30 minutes in bed.
The moisture surge range from Clinique is one of my favourite skin care collections, I use their CC cream on a daily basis, so I was excited to purchase the moisture surge face spray. Written on the front of the bottle “thirsty skin relief” and it did not disappoint. The spray delivers a fast burst of ‘aloe-activated water’ which is oil free and is quickly absorbed into the skin for a fast hydrating and smooth finish to the skin. Suitable for all skin types. Just close your eyes, take and deep breath in and out then spray!
The spray can be used under or over makeup. I often go out straight from work and don’t like carrying my makeup bag everywhere I go but a spray bottle is much less hassle. At the end of the day I give my face a quick spray and my makeup is instantly rejuvenated to how it looked in the morning. Say goodbye to cakey makeup without the need to reapply and it doesn’t cause my mascara to run either.
Like all Clinique products the moisture surge face spray is allergy tested and 100% fragrance free. At a price tag of £22 it is one of the lesser expensive products from the range which I am more than happy to pay however not everyone is. But with only one or two sprays per application needed it should last a while. The only drawback is it leaves a slightly displeasing taste on the lips but nothing a little wipe down and some lippy can’t fix.
Have you used this or any Clinique product? Would love to hear from you.

ReplyDeleteThis sounds like such a good product, I need to try it. It's a shame it doesn't taste that brilliant - I hate using skincare and accidentally rubbing it on my lips.
